THIS IS YOUR COMMUNITY AND YOUR VOTE COUNTS
My name is Louis Bartolomeo, I am currently seeking a position on the Majestic Oaks Board of Directors. I have been a resident of this community since April of 2005. In 2006 I volunteered to work on the landscaping committee. In 2007 I was appointed to the Board of Directors while I was still maintaining my appointment with the landscaping and maintenance. In 2008 I was elected to the Board of Directors for all maintenance plus A.R.C applications; however I had to step down later that year to tend to some unforeseen circumstances. In 2014 I returned to work with the Covenants Compliance Committee thru 2015. In 2016 I was appointed to the Board of Directors. I worked diligently to have all entrance walls repaired and repainted with a Weather Protecting Acrylic Stucco and all new sighs, new curbs and new landscaping. In 2017 I had all trees along 54th Ct. trimmed, the flag pole area got a new look, and I had new landscaping in the islands on 54th Ct. The maintenance is needed if we want to see Majestic Oaks flourish and more potential buyers. I would like your vote so I can continue the work I started.
As a Fourteen year resident I A. J. Bola am submitting my name to be placed on the Ballot for election to the Board.
My past experience is as follows, served as A.R.C. and Violations Committee Chair, and also Vice President for two years. Also have a working knowledge of the By Laws, Covenants, and State Law on Homeowners Associations.
As a resident of Majestic Oaks for 12 years I was involved in the following:
I was Chairman of the 2016 Covenant Review Committee that created the new covenants, which Homeowners approved. Was a member of the Contracts Committee when I served on a previous MOHA Boards. Was instrumental in closing three Stub Roads that would have added 3 additional entrances to Majestic Oaks, and also the prevention of a Land use change to High Density adjacent to Majestic Oaks. Have previously done ARC and chaired a committee to update our By-Laws to become Fl. Statute compliant which is on hold at present.
Served on a Homeowners Board in Texas. Worked in Engineering Management for 40 years, 17 at a major New York Hospital. Was a Cub Scout Leader for 10 years.
My vision is to bring more MOHA members to actively participate in the running of Majestic Oaks.
5555 SW 85th Place, Ocala, Fl 34476
My name is Anthony Lepordo, I am currently seeking a position on the Majestic Oaks Board of Directors.
I have been a resident of this community since April 2015. I have volunteered my services when needed. In 2016 I was appointed to the Board of Directors. I was appointed the task of taking over all Architectural, Landscape Change request forms Applications (ACRs). In my opinion we have a quick turnaround so residents do not have to wait long to get their application approved and a copy hand delivered back to them. I would like your vote so I can continue serving our residents.
My name is Robert Gordon and I am currently seeking a position on the Majestic Oaks Board of Directors. I have been a resident of the community since May 1st, 2016.
I retired from AT&T in 2009 with 39 years service. I was a Boy Scout leader for 15 years, a member of the Volunteer Fire Department for 6 years and a Little League Coach for 4 years.
Thank you for your consideration.
My name is Bob Watson and I am a candidate for the 2018 election of the Directors, and am asking for your vote. Next year is going to be a very busy year with a lot of possible changes in Majestic Oaks and you will want to have a voice in these issues. Homeowners not voting in our community could cause rather disastrous results to happen. Will you be one of those who refuse to mark your ballot and either mail or bring them to the election meeting? I urge you to fill out your ballot, vote for the candidate whose bios you feel will represent you with your issues. I am a candidate who will represent you and work to keep Majestic Oaks clean and beautiful without extreme costs. If a management company is decided for our community I am willing to work with homeowners and directors. It will be stressful with covenant violations, and attorney billing homeowners to force compliance. Of course the annual assessment will have to increase by necessity with a Management Company. I am asking for the majority of the homeowners to realize voting is not an imposition but an obligation to help keep a desirable community for us all to enjoy. The usual excuse is that I do not want to become involved because we cannot change, but we have an excellent chance to change our future. Please remember to vote. Majestic Oaks needs you now more than ever.
